In-home dog boarding and daycare in Melbourne's inner-western suburbs
Requirements
I only take on socialised dogs that are:

Fully Vaccinated

Desexed
-
Treated for fleas and other parasites (eg. given Nextgard Spectra each month)
I cannot take dogs that are:

Aggressive
-
Mark inside the house
-
Are destructive (they like to destroy things)

Jumpers
You must complete a Meet and Greet (see Meet and Greet below) before I agree to take on any dog.
My yard is "Jack Russell Resistant" and is able to withstand most Escape Artists, but if your dog can jump a 2m fence then I'm not able to accommodate them.
Puppies
Puppies need to be as vaccinated as they can be for their age.
I can only take on male dogs that are not desexed if they are five months or younger.
If you have a male dog that is over six months old and they are not desexed, then I'm sorry but I cannot take your dog.
Meet and Greet
Before I agree to take on any dog, I must meet both the dog and the owner(s).
You'll get to see the space your dog will stay in, and we'll also get to see:

How your dog responds to me and my directions
We'll also get to discuss your and your dog's needs.

Doggie Daycare
Drop off your dog to run around and play with other dogs while you're busy doing human things.
Depending on the dogs and the weather, there may by a sneaky visit to an off-lead dog park.
Availability
This service is available Monday to Friday. Weekends are available upon negotiation.

If you need a drop off and/or pick up outside of these hours, you will need to book a night of overnight care (see Boarding below).

Unfortunately I have now reached a point where I am turning clients away due to being at max capacity. This means I now need to charge a cancellation fee of $30 per day that is cancelled with less than 3 days notice.

Dog Boarding
Let me care for your dog while you're away on holidays.
A night of boarding is for one 24 hour period. There is a three-hour grace period for pick ups. After that, you will need to pay for a day of Daycare (see Doggie Daycare above).
The price for the day of daycare will depend on the number of nights you booked for Boarding.
Eg. If you booked three nights, you would get charged a day of daycare at the three-days of daycare rate.
Before you book your dog in for boarding, you must book a Meet and Greet (see Meet and Greet above).
For Bookings of three nights or longer, it is recommended that you book in a Trial overnight stay, so that your dog can get used to staying here and know that you will come back for them. It will also help identify any issues that might arise, and solidify if I'm the right sitter for your dog.
What to bring
I have all the leads, bowls, toys, and dog beds. All I need is your dog, plus their food (with a scoop measurement), plus any medication they need.
All dogs must wear a collar while in my care.
Pack your dog's food in one single container, with a scoop measurement.
If you have a lot of fresh food, you may need to pack two lots, one to put in my fridge, the other to put into the freezer.
Don't pack your dog's food in snap-lock bags, it's a waste of time and effort on your part, and it's a lot of plastic that will polute the environment (and the plastic can leach into your dog's food). I'm well-skilled at using a set of kitchen scales and/or cup measurements as required. Whatever your dog's eating requirements are, I can guarantee that I've cared for a dog with more fussy requirements than yours - this is not a challenge! 😜
Availability
This service is available 7 days a week.

Drop off and pick up is available any time after 7:30am and before 6pm.
If you need a drop off earlier than 7am, you will need to book an additional night of overnight care and drop them off the night before.
Drop offs and pick ups after 6pm should be negotiated beforehand, and may incure a late-fee.
